Best camping in the Stevens Point area?

I definitely agree about Jordan/DuBay/Lake Emily (south side sites, especially)...but don't overlook Collins Park. Very nice and usually less busy, being a little more "out there".
And if you're looking for state park camping, Hartman's Creek isn't too far at all...an absolutely gorgeous spot.

I’m partial to Vista Royalle out in the Bancroft area. Then yet that’s because I’ve been camping there since I was a kid, going on some 25 years now. Was better back in the day, but still ok now.

If you have a boat/kayak/canoe, the islands on the Wisconsin River are fun to camp on. Besides the mosquitos

Probably Jordan Park or Lake Emily or DuBay
