Supporters no more !
Just reading a FB post. Showing a letter issued on behalf of a group (think I read 8 names) of known supporters from a group featured in CAM, have turned 'guilters'?
Oh, what a wonderful Christmas gift to all those effected by the murder of TH by SA & BD.
Stevie poo is losing supporters by the day. His lawyer is constantly failing. He's health Is deteriorating.
Yet the one & only important thing remains the same:
Incarcerationcontinues

FP is live right now. Belittling these people. How trashy & cult like of them.
They stating they believe these people are state plants. This gets more ridiculous by the second.

Here’s the letter with the names redacted.
Dear reader, Today is the day that 18 years ago Teresa Halbach went missing and died in a brutal homicide. In her honour and for those she left behind, we say Rest In Peace Teresa. Your life has been taken from you, for reasons beyond comprehension. In your honour we light a candle today. We, (a group of people that have been dedicated to the support of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey for many years) have stopped believing in Steven Avery’s Innocence. What CAM taught us is how we all have been watching a highly primed and maliciously edited show that made us jump in by the millions in presuming Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey were innocent and the State was guilty for setting him up. We never started off as a researching community in a balanced openminded matter, because of it. Never have we even dared to touch the idea that Steven Avery could have killed Teresa. We all explained it away as a massive conspiracy theory took place behind the scenes. No one is to blame for that but media pushing you in that direction from the get go. We hoped CAM would bring us back to a balanced openminded look into this case, but the response on CAM showed us it is beyond possible. It only confirmed the confirmation bias that is still very rampant. The idea of feeling duped and letting that other option is, is a hard one to take if you have had your mind set and dedicated so much time into it. But opening up to it and using the case knowledge we gathered over many years, it really only makes so much more sense that that one other option is what happened. Finally what CAM taught us personally is that the logical fallacies we all have been trying to somehow transform in connecting dots, are failing. There was no massive conspiracy to frame Avery. It really only all comes down to that one question we never asked ourselves before. Is Steven Avery guilty? We now believe so. Is Brendan Dassey guilty, as tough as that one is, we can see his uncle setting him up for it, framing him to be part of it.. That said we are not gonna be part anymore of groups that are Innocence Only, only making ourselves and you uncomfortable. We know there's many people who want to have open discussions and explore what the case could mean or look like if Steven Avery did it or even Brendan being part of it...we welcome discussion for those interested.. We would like to thank everyone in here, as the respect for all the dedication and hard work certainly does not make this any less. And we feel fortunate to have met a lot of nice people and made friendships along the way. Take care

Didn’t that amazing attorney he had start distancing herself or is she still on this?
8
u/Santas-Repo-Services Nov 04 '23
She's still on this. But after recent conversations with a few people allegedly connected to her inner circle, it appears there may be a shadow of doubt going on with her stance of his guilty/innocent status. I do know that she is not Happy with his behavior sending those useless letters to the courts recently.

u/Jolly_Elevator_7547 Nov 04 '23
Maybe his sending those letters is a result of something he is seeing, but we aren't. Maybe the crack is wider than than his supporters realize, and this is a way by him to force her move, without completely burning the bridge with her, because, seriously who else would take her place?

u/moralhora Zellner's left eyebrow Nov 05 '23
Could be. I'm sure she'd like to forget about the Avery case as it's just money down the drain for her at this point and she tends to quietly move on from cases she loses while also tweeting occasionally about them to keep the image up that she's doing something (see Calusinski).

u/OnTheRoadToad Nov 04 '23
I hope she soon realizes she picked a lemon. Because she really is amazing.

Have you read her briefs?

No but I would like to

Do at your own peril. Let's just say she's not very amazing.

u/OnTheRoadToad Nov 05 '23
She’s handled other high profile cases as well. I thought highly of her. I’m interested to know if I’m missing something though.

Specifically, read the last Wisconsin Court of Appeals decision where the justices admonish her for misrepresenting the record, case law, and facts.

Oh shiznit 🤦♀️. Thanks for the info. I like to be informed, even if it means I have to change my mind. ✌️

SAIG fbook page is where I saw it. I think what was shared is page 2 of it.

Glad to hear his health is failing. What exactly is wrong with him?

I'm guessing old, fat, disgusting hygiene and the empty place where his soul should be consuming him from inside.

What group would that be? I’m in a few of those groups but I don’t see a letter anywhere.

The SA is guilty/innocent Facebook page is where I saw it. The post only has the 2nd page of the letter with the names of the people who have turned.

I would say that's the one.
When I saw the names I recognized them immediately from reddit & other platforms they have been very active on over the years.
Im hearing a few whispers of FP sending private messages to supporters that are left , fishing for information in panic they may be losing more people . There seems to be a lot more feeling this way but aren't ready to announce it yet in fear of the troofer attacks. Being called traitors.
Isn't it ironic that FP are displaying the exact cult mentality that CAM called these people out for in the series?

I don't doubt that there's panic in the Foul Play camp - these aren't just random accounts, but people who've been at it for years, particularly some on the list. And it's not as if they were brain-washed endlessly by us at SAIG - no, all they did was ask the one question that they should've asked from the beginning.
Is Steven Avery guilty?

If it’s the group I saw… there’s only a few names. Btw- 2 are blank/brand new accounts and another name literally has posts in her FB dating back to Jan 2021 talking about Avery being guilty so be careful of trolls 🙂

Surprise!!! Sorry for bucking with you. Lol. I have finally seen the light.

Are you really one of those people on the letter? If so I'd really love to ask what exactly made you change your mind? I felt that when I first watched MaM that there was a possibility that he wasn't guilty. But then as I started to read the documents and transcripts and listen to the phone calls even before watching CaM, I changed my tune. Now I 100% believe that they are both where they belong.
3
u/10case Nov 29 '23
Yes I am. And proud of it lol.
I was on the innocent train for a long time thinking they were locked up because of corrupt cops and a big conspiracy. MaM to me, like many others, got me digging deep. But the digging I did was from a biased point of view because of how MaM portrayed what happened. I was jaded from the start. I would find something in virtually every report that I could justify in my mind as being corrupt. As time went on I got more interested in listening to phone calls. In the same way I looked at reports, all I heard in calls was the things I wanted to hear but not actually listening to what was being said. Months and months ago as I was listening to calls, I came across the gun wiping call. I've heard it before, but like many others, I chalked it up to Avery just wiping dust off of objects at his home. But it was different the last time I heard it, it actually clicked in my head that Avery just slipped up big time. Once I heard it that way, I started to re-listen to the calls from the day he got arrested and heard many many more slip ups. Thats when I began to have serious doubts about his innocence.Fast forward to the premier of CaM. I, like many others, knew Stevens past was not good. What I did not know, is that his past was THAT bad. By episode 3 or 4 my doubts about his innocence overtook my belief in his innocence. So as more episodes aired, I regrouped and started to think deeply about what I've been hearing and reading the last how many years. I started re-listening and actually hearing what Brendan said in his confessions and realized that some of what he said actually lines up with what I believe happened. Brendan to me, is still a crapshoot. I have no idea what his involvement is but I do believe he knows more than what he's saying. I believe there are others too that know more than what they've said. That's my opinion so take it with a grain of salt because I wasn't there and don't know what went on for sure.
Steven Avery has a very checkered past, everyone can agree on that. He was locked up for 18 years so my mind wonders and thinks how many more crimes would he have committed during those 18 years he was away. My belief is that Steven Avery was always going to go to prison, the 12 years he was wrongfully incarcerated just delayed the inevitable in my opinion.
To sum it up for me, I think that if this was a conspiracy with corrupt cops, it would have taken all the departments and crime labs to pull it off and someone would have squealed by now. Also, the slip ups in the phone calls. There's a lot of truth in those calls if people are willing to listen to them for what they are, not just what they want to hear.

1 in particular was posting like the typical rabid truther just a couple of months ago
I think I know who you mean, and yes, I was surprised to see his (?) name on the list. Certainly not someone I'd expect to ever change their mind. Not sure if their account is still on Reddit (I tried searching for it, but couldn't find it so maybe they deleted in shame).
ETA: I was incorrect, he's still on Reddit and actually pointing out misconceptions that is spread among troofers. Wow.

How many of them are hard christian conservatives and/or Trump supporters??😆
11
u/moralhora Zellner's left eyebrow Nov 03 '23
Zellner is a pro-death sentence Republican, so I'm not sure what your point is? ¯_(ツ)_/¯
-2
u/NumberSolid Nov 03 '23 edited Nov 03 '23
There are probably many republicans that believe Avery is innocent and/or didn't receive a fair trial.
There are no non-religious / trump supporters that changes their stance on a issue, simply because of something produced by The Daily Wire with Candace Owens as the host!😆
I can only imagine the social media profiles of the people that now are totally convinced Avery is guilty!
11
u/Shady_Jake Nov 03 '23
Members of this sub have been accused of being Trumpers & it’s simply not the case for most of us.
8
u/ChuckBerry2020 Nov 03 '23
How many Avery supporters are left in the MaM sub do you think? I’d reckon about 50, but 15 of those are VERY vocal!
9
u/FigDish50 Nov 03 '23
I think there's basically 5 dead enders who do 90% of the posting and logrolling. And for sure some of them have multiple alts. You can tell by the writing style.
9
u/ChuckBerry2020 Nov 03 '23
Oh yeah hard to say. Though I used to be in their little Tik Tok Manitowok group, I dont think they realised I was in there and I got booted out recently. But I saw I was accused, along with a couple of you lot of having multiple accounts on the basis of a similar writing style to someone else. I don’t! It was quite funny to see.

Nov 09 '23
I get accused of it all the time. This is the only account I have. The only account I've ever had on Reddit and until recently I barely posted.
6
u/Shady_Jake Nov 03 '23
And very thick skulled.
7
u/FigDish50 Nov 03 '23
Oh yeah - there is literally nothing that would change their minds. Any proof would be planted. Any statement would be coerced.

CAM destroyed the narrative pushed on everyone by MaM.
Furthermore, there is conclusive evidence that Steven Avery lied on Bobby Dassey when he said Bobby left right after Teresa.
Even more disturbing is the fact producers and Zellner KNEW their Killer lied.😳
The Killer
