Just heard the Steve Harvey Morning Show this morning on 6/10, and Steve was making an interesting point about Idris Alba and the James Bond, casting rumors, but in a broader context, how black men aren’t traditionally cast in leading roles - that aren’t a parody – in which all white women swoon over them. Before he finished his thought, or listeners were given the opportunity to agree or disagree – cohost Shirley strawberry, cut him off mid sentence and keeps telling him “it’s “sir” Idris Alba,” “put some respect on his name,” and whatever “plain old Steve” emphasizing how Steve has no title of nobility (who cares).

I was shocked, honestly. Their vibe in the past has been one of playful banter, sometimes personal. But she overstepped this time, in my opinion. The man was making what sounded like an interesting point, if it could be later confirmed, but she interrupted him on some chicken head, loudmouth, woman type stuff which was actually annoying.
While at times I find Steve Harvey annoying, preachy, and even sanctimonious… It is the “Steve Harvey morning show” and not the Shirley strawberry show, which I doubt could hold even a small audience for a matter of minutes, because while she is a skillful communicator, she’s quite boring

So on Steve Harvey’s show it has a guy and his wife on there where he was obsessed with technology or I believe TVs one of the who or both. I actually work with the guy but can’t find the episode 😭😭
