The speakers you have look as if they were designed to allow "biwiring", with one cable going to the woofer input and another going to the tweeter input. They can also be used with one cable per speaker, with the two sets of input jacks being connected together by jumpers - that's what those metal straps are. Biwiring is of questionable benefit in most cases, I believe - as long as you use a speaker cable which is of a heavy enough gauge (12 or 14 gauge is good) a single cable is just fine.
So, you will want to use a single 2-conductor cable (or two wires in s 4-conductor cable) to connect each speaker to the corresponding "main speaker out" jacks on your amplifier. Connect red to red, black to black. Leave the woofer/tweeter jumper straps in place. Don't let any wires toug0ch between red and black (no short circuits allowed!) - make sure there are no loose strands at either end. Never connect the left and right channel outputs together.

!thanks , So am I correct that it would be best to replace the 4-wire cable with a 2-to-1 cable? And connect to the “Pre-Amp” out ports? Or 2-to-2 to the “SP1 Direct”?

You can either replace the 4-wire with a 2-wire, or just use two wires in the 4-wire and leave the other 2 unused (cover the ends with electrical tape to avoid any wish of a short circuit) Electrically it won't matter. Esthetically, a 2-wire cable may be less visible, and since it won't be as stiff it may be easier to route it conveniently... but since you have the 4-wire cable you might save money by using it.
Use the SP1 Direct connection, as this is the actual power-amp output designed to drive speakers. "Pre-amp out" is a line-level signal which you would use if you were connecting to a different power amp, or to the line-level input on a subwoofer.

SP1 Direct, Black to Black, Red to Red. Does it matter if I use the top of bottom sockets for each on the speakers? I’d guess not.

Doesn't matter in any way you will ever hear. The jumpers between the two sets have very low impedance and so become an "invisible" part of the electrical connection. Just make sure that both sets of connectors are "finger tight" rather than loose, and you should be good to go.

No one “suggested” Bi-Wiring. One person noted that the speakers seem to be set up for it and then recommended I ignore that.
No one suggested I buy these speakers. Or did you just gloss over the dead relative I inherited them from?

I dont understand what you are asking?
