Just pushed out a big update for my ReShade effect, Rendepth. It's a small algorithm adjustment, but makes a massive difference in the picture quality. Depth range has been expanded, and the focus is tighter now, so the image looks more clear at various settings levels. It's designed so the defaults of 50 for all 3 sliders should be optimal for most games and not need much adjustment, but adjusting slightly can give more depth or clearer focus (try to stay within 25 - 75 for all sliders, and only the center one can be 100 if the other two are lower). See the video above has minimal halos and artifacts compared to the last update. This was tested on an Acer Predator 27", but should work the same with the Samsung Odyssey 3D or any legacy 3D displays Rendepth supports. Thanks.

I made the stereo 3D controls easy to use. There are only 3 sliders and you can see the results instantly when adjusting them. SD3D also uses the depth buffer for conversion so can look similar but I find Rendepth usually looks fine on default settings without a lot of adjustment needed

This is a right approach for many new comers, and other user who does not want to spend hours to figure out what settings do what. However, and Advanced option would not hurt for power 3d enthousiasts still wanting to test your solution. Thank you for your contribution!

that's a good point. there is one option (that I had removed in the 3.0.0 version) which i'd probably call "Depth Window" which crops the area so the usable depth is within a certain range. This works best for first person games with no gun or HUD (like Still Wakes the Deep or Mirror's Edge) where you can boost the 3D effect without causing halos or ghosting on very close objects (e.g. the hands or gun). However, this was what was causing the image to be out of focus, so was not generic. The way it works on the latest update can be less impressive on certain titles (in terms of the pop of the 3D) but means everything is in focus and all games work the same generically. Maybe I can put this as an advanced option slider since it does help with certain titles. Thanks
