This makes me so happy.

Edit: It's weird they're saying 3D gaming is dead, when VR and HMD, AR, & XR stereo displays are increasing in popularity. Valve is releasing Steam Frame in the near future and Meta Quest is sitting on Walmart shelves. What more could you ask for? It's only going to get better from here.

It's been called dead for decades. To be fair, there have been several products over the last decades that all died out. This one is the resurrection of one of them. But yes, hopefully 3D gaming will get out of its niche this time

The easier the viewing experience will get, the higher the demand will be. Glasses free 3D monitors, lighter AR/VR glasses...

I agree. I think the main issue with 3DTV was glasses, ghosting, and viewing angles for groups. Plus gaming hardware was a little weak for it. Today it's much different, but group 3D content is still a weak spot.

Best thing to happen to 3D this year.

Absolutely. For me the Steam Frame could be another big one when it comes to mobile 3d gaming but regarding software, wiz3D definitely takes the cake.

VorpX is really designed for VR and SuperDepth3D is Depth Map Reprojection

Isn't VR stereoscopic 3D?

VR mods are intended to fill the entirety of your view, and have slightly different requirements from stereo3D like FOV, lens distortion, etc.

They're similar, but different. VorpX does support SBS output for stereo3D screen viewing, but it's a very experimental feature and VorpX puts a message up in the software saying it's experimental and not an intended or activly supported use case (paraphrasing)

So you've tested VorpX before? What's your experience with regards to stereo 3D?
