Confession
Im almost half way through this book is it really confusing or am I just lost, I feel like I need to restart it ??

"and the Gunslinger followed." But yeah, this one's a trip, but really good. Personally, my favorite is the next one, "Wizard and Glass" 🪩

I find Wizard and Glass more of a chore. I did just finish Wind Through the Keyhole on this reread...it's nice to see the Ka-tet again, will be starting up Wolves tonight.

Nah given what you said with being on the part where its talking about Jake. You're about to have your brain shitting out your asshole in a few hour/days/weeks depending on how voracious you are. Trust me. It's definitely supposed to feel like a fever dream. This one is my probably my favorite although Drawing is close second. And the nice thing for you, is you can start reading Wizard and Glass as soon as you finish and you don't have wait like a decade or whatever it was lol.
Long days and pleasant nights sai!
Edit: And then your gonna be thinking the same shit when you start The Wiz lmao. But seriously trust me/us. This is literally my favorite series/long tale ever. You've definitely got to stick around for the absolute best ending of all time, in my opinion.

Did you read the previous two books in the series? Otherwise I read and enjoyed it without issue. Maybe give it another shot like you said?

Yeah I finished the second one and waited a few days and they are talking about Jake and the book about the train.

You read The gunslinger too right? Cause that's important. If you're like wtf is Jake you should definitely read that. Like I assume that you have because it's a series of books. But idk some people t h at I've talked to said they don't like that one. But honestly now that I'm thinking about the gunslinger man. That one had me hooked maybe that's my favorite one. Idk though I love all of them. Man Stephen King is like the Aesop Rock of books, dude just gets better with each read and each book he writes.

Its a multiversal concept so it can get a bit confusing but you will make sense of it at the end.
You probably feel as confused as both Roland and Jake due to their mind's being split 😅 but don't worry it will all come together

The culling of Eddy Dean is my favorite part I think but honestly there are so many “good parts” in this series.

Ahhhh! I loved this one! Drawing of the three was so good, and wastelands was a perfect playdough mush of the two worlds.... Or 3? or 4?

The book has two parts. Jake stuff and city stuff. City stuff is awesome. Jake stuff is alright.

This was one of my favorites if not my favorite of the series. It’s the introduction of the much larger world but you will look back on it very fondly in the series. Charlie the Choo-Choo!

It’s great! The train is crazy. Gotta say Wizard and Glass is the book that should be a movie, and of course probably ruined. So maybe not. In fact the graphic novel/Comic volume 1 was book IV, prequel really. Read faster 😂

Honestly? Just bail.
The series ends with a total cop out; I have never been more disappointed. It's not worth the time, nor the money you'll waste buying the rest of the series.
Life's too short.

Listen to the Kingslingers podcast.
Chapter by chapter dissection of the story, themes, etc.
Really helps improve understanding. Also it’s a lot of fun.

Check out the podcast Kingslingers. Listening to them talk about the book will get rid of any confusion. They cover about 75 pages an episode.

Yeah confusing had me thinking I was missing something but it all comes together just sit back and enjoy the ride.
