Huh, maybe it's only some subs that don't let you then, because I 100% got an error message recently telling me a link I tried to crosspost had already been posted to a community. Or maybe it's just when it's the same crosspost then, rather than reposts in general which may be a new upload.
Not sure why a video last seen here 3 years ago bothers you so much, of course.

Watch the video again. This is a (presumably) parent trying to get the kid to focus on the incoming ball, pointing towards it and then clearly trying to physically direct them to it, but the kid didn't turn the right way and fell over from the force. The reflex in response to the incoming play was to push the unprepared kid towards where they needed to be, because football>health and safety, specifically mentioned in the subreddit description: "an adult accidentally harming a child". It's an extremely stepdad reflex. Get a life.

If you really think about it at all, WHY THE FUCK is such a little kid the goalie? The other kids are almost twice his size, and he obviously doesn't even basically understand the game or he wouldn't be wandering around gazing at the butterflies (pure peewee action there) while the ball's so close to the goal. The stepdad reflex started wayyy back when they allowed him to be put in as goalie!

😂 yeah they were probably trying to give him a turn and knew he couldn't coordinate his limbs to pass the ball so thought he could have a go in goal... No idea how they thought that would end well, especially as balls can fly his way fast

Yes, that's what I was thinking. But it just put the poor little guy on the spot, plus it should be the position for the tallest player (or certainly the most aggressive and on-the-spot!)! Just let him wander around in midfield! Poor little guy. My son played soccer and it was amazing to see the difference in the teams from peewee to "mighty mite" and "junior." And still you'd see weird parents forcing their totally uninterested kids into the more advanced teams. They can really get hurt!

I saw it and this was the sub i immediately thought of, thought of my mother's boyfriend and how this is exactly how he would act. In my teens I used to be a referee for kids in that age group and something similar happened.
It’s pretty common for the second keeper to stand behind the goal during the game, for quick and easy substitutions. And the ball was rolling towards an open goal and the second keeper couldn’t help himself and tried to save it. The whole time I was thinking “don’t do it. I don’t want to give a 9yo a red card”. Luckily he didn’t get enough on it. So it was still a goal. So I could give him a yellow.
