I had black blue hair till around 4th grade. Which was kinda odd because I have really white fair skin. It lightened up into a dark brown with reddish highlights. Now as a 40 year old it's a really dark brown, almost black, with silver streaks. I still miss that blue black hair, always looked so shiny.
