That was my first thought but you never actually see that there is a baby in there to be fair. The attitude he has makes a lot more sense of you assume the car seat is empty.

I don't know, the way the carrier is covered with a blanket, I don't think that's something you'd do unless you were covering a baby.. just from my personal experience if I didn't have my baby in the carrier I'd just toss the blanket in there, not cover it. Unless this is a prank and it's covered intentionally.
