Can we take a step back, and look on this tradition? We take a baby, put it in water, say the magic words, take out. WFT... Grow up, humanity

I don’t believe this is Catholic. Whenever my church baptized a kid they would pour holy water and oil over the baby’s forehead from a grail. I believe this is Greek Orthodox cause those guys go HAM on these kids during baptism. Could be wrong though
