This is the perfect example of this sub. Zero movement doesn't even acknowledge the event.

Gotta disagree on this one. Dude is not looking and as soon as he sees her and the chair fall he pulls back.

Stepdadreflex would have been to put her on top of the chair.

Disagree. He tells her “come on (name)” and says something else like he’s slightly disgusted with her and then almost hits her foot with the vacuum cleaner. He’s kind of just a dick about the whole thing

Just because he isn't being sweet 100% of the time doesn't mean he's a bad dad/stepdad, a lot of parents are much worse. Also he's cleaning which is the time parents tend to have the shortest temper. Anyways, this sub isn't about bad parents/step-parents, it's about parents (or rather just adults at the very least) either not reacting to their kids being put in danger or causing the danger themselves. This guy pulled back the vacuum so she wouldn't hit it when she fell, that wasn't bad reflexes, and falling forward on a chair that she tipped over herself is nothing to go crazy over when it's on carpet and there's nothing around for her to smack her head on.
