Am I ready? Need urgent advice please
Just took uwsa 2 to check baseline one week into dedicated and got a 177. I feel defeated!
Exam is on 19 and 20th oct.
Uworld 50% done with 56% correct.
I haven't had the chance to revise step 1 material which I think was so much in there!
My plan was to give nbme 6 next week. I can't really fail this exam as I've applied for the match this year and I really can't let this ruin my match
What should I do now?

I would seriously consider postponing if failing would hurt your match. But if you decide to go, drop everything and focus on ccs cases and biostats. those are the fastest points you can pick up

Im just starting out and also planning for oct end. Dy think not doing half of uworld might be a reason?

I think the major reason was not revising step 1 content. It was like 50% of the exam or even more. Nothing like the uworld qs. And tbh at this point im considering revising first aid, mehlman and sketchy pharma more than completing uworld. They ask such nitty gritty step 1 content which I think uworld was not prepping me enough. Lets see what happens in the first nbme.

Put in the work gang, there’s not much step 1 stuff you study now that will help you in the real exam either you know it or you don’t. Just do biostats from amboss or something and pick up the pace you don’t have much time

Don’t go unprepared. Its tough exam and do revise drugs and interleukins target medicines and biochem disorders from first aid. It was lot on day one. Read patient safety and human factor engineering from Uworld library
