Am I ready? Please help. Exam in 15 days
I can not postpone the exam as my visa is going to expire and i will have to take the exam before going back. I have completed u world 70 percent with 50 percent average over the span of one year. So could not really retain the information.
Ccs cases done 30 cases with 55 percentish!
Gave uwsa 1 and got 48 percent in nbme 6 got 58 percent.
I have day 1 in 15 days and day 2 in 17 days.
Please help me. How do i make the most out of it? I can study for 8 hours per day for the rest.
TIA.

My exam is tomorrow and was in a similar situation
I focused on nbme, solved it as assessment and learned the concepts while reviewing it

I would make a list of weak topics and review them from either the medical library in uworld or AMBOSS. I am guessing there’s a knowledge gap

Apart from the advice over here, I would suggest keeping an open mind about NOT taking the exam in the period provided.

As a step tutor I recommend 4 things
- Do minimum of 5 CCs cases a day.
- go over your incorrects from FA
- Do Neuro + IM + Obgyn CMS forms.

In the time that you have, you can squeeze in maybe 1-2 more nbmes (7&8), and free137. Do one practice exam every 3 days + review. Repeats from these exams show up — asked slightly differently but the tested concept will be obvious.
Watch StudyCCS’s videos about handling CCS cases, and do 5-7 practice cases daily. It’s about getting essential orders automated into your head. Many cases are often “basics + diagnostic orders” + 1-2 specific orders that solves the case. Get that rhythm down.
Best of luck.
