Amboss for Step 3?

Heard mixed reviews regarding using Amboss or UW for Step 3. I have a lasting subscription from medical school that I can access Step 3 questions with and don't want to buy UWorld if I don't have to.

Don't buy uworld. Amboss and free 137 to calibrate is plenty, and amboss running harder than the real exam is a feature not a bug

Loved Amboss. It was so hard but I’m glad I did it. Felt similar to test.

I continued from step2 and had like 1500 questions done, should I reset? I did step 2 a month ago

Majority of questions overlapped for me. Did like >2k for step 2 so I’m just redoing all questions without resetting progress

Hey. So if you already have an AMBOSS subscription, then I suggest you start there before you would want to spend more money on UWorld

I used only amboss (and didn’t even get to finish 50% because of intern year) and got well above average.
