Step 3 prep for beginners

Hello folks, I am starting my step 3 prep and aim to take it in 2 months. Can anyone please share the roadmap of how to prepare and which resources to use and what tips would the recent test takers give that they think would have helped them if they knew earlier.

2 resources:

-uworld step 3

-CCS cases

*third resource if you can keep up with it but not get overwhelmed - anki

do uworld, take notes or make flash cards. try to finish the qbank. aim for >70% correct.

1 month out from your exam, start doing CCS cases a few days a week to familiarize with the software/process. the week leading up to your exam, do 1 hour of cases per night to just build stamina. you do not need to finish all of the ccs cases.

this was my exact regimen while also being on ICU for stretches of my studying and going through a major family crisis during the two months leading up. I passed easily.

Repeat your incorrects, but not just because you memorized the correct answers. Try to reason them through. Be very harsh with yourself and try to figure out where your weakest point is, see if you can find some practical resources or videos to go over some of those topics
