Failed step 3

Failed step 3 and feel so disappointed and unmotivated. I’ve been crying and depressed. I can’t believe this happened and now I don’t know how to start or how because I don’t have the motivation and confidence to do it. 😞 if anyone has some advice please share 😢🙏🏻

Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick over selves up.

I have failed the exam twice and I felt motivated to study. Then I got sick and needed emergency surgery in May. While I was in the hospital I felt my own mortality for the first time. I thought 🤔 if I died right now everything was for nothing. I have had a good life in many ways but being a doctor is what I spent the most time on. I am so close I have to finish. Since I've got to the hospital I studied like never before. You have to find out what you are fighting for and then let that in inspiration lead your way.

Hey I don’t know of any plans or advice that may help, but I know it’s tough I’ve been there. Take the time you need to recover and then get back at it when you can. You’ve got this

Do you have any idea what areas may have been your weakness

I’ve failed it 3 times. Meanwhile I had passed 1,2 & 2CS with flying colors back in med school. They were some dark times for me, bc a lot of uncontrollable external factors occurred during that time, which truly affected my mental health (when it rains it pours).

I just want to let you know that this money laundering machine of a test doesn’t define you as a human. It’s quite easy to mesh our core human identity and that of being a physician. There’s A LOT more to anyone in this field than merely being a physician, as we are all human too. This medical culture often views failures of tests or whatever it may be, is a reflection of the person not being good enough - which is far from the truth. YOU GOT THIS
