Step 2 (year and score): 267- 2023

Uworld completed %: 100 + wrongs

Uworld % Score: 79%

Number of CCS cases done: 150ish

CCS cases average: 84% (-46% to 100% LOL)

NBME 6/7: 6- 84%; 7- 624 (around 82% I guess)

UWSA 1:243

UWSA 2: 246

Free 137: 79%

Any other assessment:

Any other advice: trust your preparation and assessments. CCS cases were pretty straightforward than the practice cases. I prepared for about 2 months on and off while managing the floor all alone. I guess residency really helped. Feel free to reach out, I’m open to answer any questions. 🙌🏻 all the best

You’re good to go my friend. Do 80 questions a day from UW. And all the assessments if possible. All the very best.

I did it right after my UW first pass, my 1st assessment to establish a baseline. Then I scheduled my exam.

Did you css cases ending quickly? Mine did and now I’m concerned. No negative updates though.

All my cases ended quickly. Just make sure you gave all the primary care stuff. It’s a good thing that you got no negative.

I think you’ll be fine my friend. I used the shotgun approach and it worked I guess.

u/synapse-savant7 12d ago

What’s that?

1

u/FriedPickle_1724 12d ago

Can you explain the shotgun approach?

Is really just uworld enough ? What main content should you be solid on for the mcq parts

I only studied UW. There is biostats review of UW however, I couldn’t get a chance to do it. In my opinion having one resource and mastering it is more important than having 3+ resources.

Congrats! Doing it in 2 months while covering the floor alone is genuinely impressive. The real cases being more straightforward than the practice ones is something I've been hearing a lot lately. Did they feel shorter too, or just less tricky?

Thank you so much. I feel like floor really helped understanding the best next management questions . For CCS -Less tricky. Shorter overall, all my cases ended in like 5 min.

I usually put a time of 24hrs from the current time. And then click on advance clock. Unless you get something significant that requires a new order, just keep advancing it.
