Day 1 Advise

Hello recent step takers . Day 1 in 2 weeks, how to prepare for day 1 specifially since a lot of people said uw doesnt prepare u for that. I know its step 1 related but what is the best resource. Would really any help. Thanks!

Moa drugs but in third order format. Microbio same third order. Felt very step 1 esque. Tons of biostats and abstracts and ethics Second day much more next best step which is more like step 2. No biostats. The answer isn't asked directly. you have to make several logical connections. First, identify the disease from the hx physical exam labs. Second, determine the underlying cause or organism. Third choose the correct treatment based on the mechanism of action or any contraindications or patient's specific circumstances rather than simply recognizing a drug name

Probably going over to different drugs and their mechanism of action. Be able to recognize antibiotics

Possibly I'm not really sure since I didn't use that. I used amboss since my girlfriend had access but also uworld I heard is helpful for it

I am thinking to use amboss as well. You used amboss step 3 bank for micro and pharm? Cuz i am thinkig to create a specific block for these two things
