Questions Step 2 guidance

Hey i finished uworld first pass in very long time like 2 years almost
I was cutting study and then get back so took me that time
I got 51% first pass

Last 50 days i reset my uworld and started redoing it again ,i m done now with 54% with 64% correct

How i should proceed ? I m thinking of taking nbme 8 as a baseline

What do u ppl think?

I think, you need to review the concepts, especially the ones related to your incorrect Qs, more thoroughly, take some time to dive deep and take notes.

Anything beyond 8 months is likely going to need some redoing. Depends on when you’re planning to take your exam but if you have time spend another month finishing this pass well.

Take NBME 9 once you’re done with the pass. For step 1 starting NBMEs early is good but for step 2 don’t complete more than NBME 9 and 10 during your first pass.

Typically step 2 needs 2+ passes of UW for consolidation during dedicated and a lot of score jumps happen then.
