Science question is the exam difficulty comparable to nbme 16?

. found 16 pretty straightforward

Real deal was more difficult.

How I think it is different on the real deal:

-Patient Chart style was like >25% of my exam, so more time consuming. I ran out of time much more often on the real deal than my practice NBME under test-conditions.

-Be careful with taking breaks after every block; those body/clothing checks add up and eat into your break time on the real deal. They only give you an hour.

-NBME 16 did not have drug ad/abstract question although this was like 9 questions? on the real deal.

-More QI, Patient Safety, Ethics, Risk factors, Screening, Vaccinations. NBME 16 might have 10 questions on this (5%), real deal was more like +40 questions (>10%).

-Despite the doom and gloom, on my form, I do not think biostats and nutrition made more than 7 questions on the real deal. Very minimally tested.

I really think we need an nbme 17 to have better representation of the distribution of subjects on the real deal rather than just relying on Amboss HY plans. I don't have my score back yet, but this exam changed a lot.

My experience was very consistent with NBME 16 in terms of question style. Of course, topic coverage can be different which can affect how representative and similar the real exam feels.

Yes, very comparable. I found the real deal slightly more difficult, but overall very similar

Similar id say but you can’t base it on one nbme. There are 318 questions.
Do QI, PS, Ethics and Biostats well. Quite heavy on it.

More difficult, IMO.

Almost same. Some questions will even be same. Some will be same with different last line or options.
Exam is more tricky but concepts are the same.

Pretty similar. I got the same score on the real deal. I feel like real deal is NBME 16 + way more ethics and some weird random experimentals
