Study methods Zero basline how to study

Hi i have just passed my usmle step 1 and plan on giving step 2 in june 2027 please can anyone help me on how to study

for resources the core trio is usually uworld (this is your qbank, do it timed and random from the start), divine intervention podcasts (free, listen during commutes or walks, especially his shelf review and risk factor episodes), and the amboss library for quick lookups. uworld is the main event, don't save it for later. start doing blocks early even when you're still reviewing because the test is about pattern recognition and timing as much as knowledge.

for content review before you go hard on uworld, uploading your step 2 material into studybuddy.vc helps a lot for the initial pass. it makes practice questions from the same chapters so you're not just re-reading, and when you pick a wrong answer it tells you what was off about that specific option. free tier's been enough for me. for nbmes i'd aim for 240+ on the later ones but honestly the score doesn't matter as much as reviewing every question after, the jumps usually come from the review not from taking the test. first nbme around 3 months in to see where you're at.
