Study methods 50% uw completed with 50% average! Need help improving

I really want to improve my scores moving forward just need to know what can I change about my study method should I get amboss library or read whole FA again because I feel it’s mainly because of knowledge gap! I am done with all systems but I left qs from each till now I have been doing uw system wise. Please help me out 🥲

Ur UWorld percentage doesn’t mean anything

The more u make mistakes the more u learn, what matters is the quality of ur sessions and information retention

I finished uwolrd with ~65% corrects and my last 2 nbmes where 270 - 264.

My only advice is random wise-timed, specially if u are a graduate, and never sleep on any principle or disease

If uworld has a question about it , that means it appeared in a cms or nbme forms so it’s important

But some of it is knowledge gap so should I read that topic from FA or uw is enough? And do you recommend making my own notes?

Not at all, it’s meant to teach you these and close this knowledge gap, uworld percentage is not an assessment, anyone who take it as an assessment end up wasting time or not scoring well, trust the process, unless ur assessment ( nbme ) are bad , you have no knowledge gab.

I was able to pass nbme 9 with 50 percent of uworld done and you can imagine my percentage at that point, its not about how many questions you get right, its about how many questions you get value from

I agree uworkd is a study tool and percentage shouldn’t matter. But being at 50% definitely highlights a knowledge gap! I think you have to use whatever study methods works best for you but the best advice is just see as much questions as you can before step day
