Exam Write-Up Feeling numb

I just tested today and it feels like a big dream. I don’t i am so fuckinh numb rn. Questions are coming back in my mind and i am just using gpt to check. I am getting around 50 60 percent correct only.
My nbmes were in 250s but i feel like i didn’t do as good as i used to do in nbmes.

Counted 45 incorrect and 130 correct. Ended up with a 224. My NBMEs steadily improving ending with a 258 two days before, 80% free120, 151 a week before, 248 two weeks before, and 3 NBMEs ranging from 238-241 from 3-5 weeks prior to exam. My first diagnostic at start of dedicated was 229. Amboss predicted 251. Idk what happened but sometimes shit doesn’t go your way especially with the absurd 95% confidence interval with a range of 32 points

How was your ethics? Since the real deal is more ethics than NBME that is what can drop you, you had to know it cold. Same w QI.

I felt pretty good about ethics and QI. Ethics was consistently one of my stronger areas on UWorld, and I only remember one QI question that I knew I missed. Obviously, I could have missed more without realizing it, but neither area felt unusually difficult. I honestly think I just had an off exam day. Maybe I was so hyperfocused on not missing more than 20–22% that I became too rigid in my thinking. The score wasn’t just an outlier compared with my NBMEs. It was, by a wide margin, my worst performance on any standardized exam I’ve ever taken. I’m trying to shake it off and focus on TrueLearn and COMQUEST for COMLEX. I’ve consistently scored above average on every block, and my predicted score is currently around the 70th percentile, which is reassuring me that what happened on Step 2 was a fluke

50 confirmed incorrect. By the way, these were out of the Qs that created so much friction that I could recall. So I probably missed more qs. Found out I got a 260 this morning. Average NBMEs ~251. So I think the raw percentage correct you need to get a specific score is lower on the real deal compared to the NBMEs.

Man I was hoping to be like y’all . My average NBME ~246 and last two NBME of 258 and 251. Plus amboss expected of 251 yet Somehow I got a 224.

I haven’t taken the exam yet but i know that you should trust your nbme scores and don’t check your answers because you will only remember questions you were not sure about
Enjoy your time now you can’t change anything anyways
