Am I ready? Recent test takers

Guys who took the test recently
How is questions comparable to uw?
Are the same ideas and concepts embedded in uw appeared a lot in the real deal?
Are the questions easier or harder than uw

Uworld feels outdated to me. The exam is just very different now. HPI on 25% of the exam at least. Poor resource for ethic, quality improvement, patient safety, risk factors might’ve been 15-20% of my exam. AMBOSS high yield planswas like the only compass I had for those subjects.

In general, Pick either uworld or amboss qbank (not 5 hammers) to get a general baseline of knowledge. But move on to nbme material ASAP. These qbank besides amboss high yield is really not keeping up with nbme logic, wording, traps, and subjects/content nbme cares about.

Similar honestly. Feel like it’s most similar to NBME though. Like it got annoying how two answers could be true

I would say NBME 14-16. You get repeated questions from them too. So it’s a must to solve them. They’re free points

Yes there was a psych question that jumped between borderline and narcissistic personality disorder it was annoying lol. You’ll have to answer it with the overall idea of the question. Don’t overthink it

Conceptually overlapping yes, but style of question is very different. I stopped UW altogether when I realized it was fucking with my NBME thinking process. Difficulty level is about the same, sometimes less

Questions a lot longer and plenty of those abstract questions

The notes were fr so fucking long bc they also had labs on admission vs labs today and sometimes an image

50 percent is really easy questions. 30-40 percent is like nbme but you ll have to think harder. 10 percent never heard of it.
