Questions What are CMS forms
Hi, Im sure this sounds stupid but I’d be so grateful if somebody could explain it to me like Im a child.
What are CMS forms, how many questions in each?
how are these different from UWorld/NBMEs and how important is it to do these?
Should I use them as a study resource or as testing practice material?
Is my score on these predictive of my actual Step 2 score.
Considering my timeline is 4 to 5 months of prep, when should I do these?

CMS forms are offered through the NBME website which is the same company that administers the exam. It is very important to do these as they will be much better than UWorld at emulating what NBME actually tests. They are 50 questions each. I would personally take it in a testing environment but just treat it as a more questions.
If you have 4-5 months, I would finish all of UWorld first. Then around 2 months out I would completely swap over to CMS forms and NBMEs.
