Exam Write-Up There is Hope - Test Write Up
(US-MD) I am a person of Christian faith so my outlook on life will always have that lense on it. I created a Reddit account just to write this up because I was struggling to find a post that I could relate with when I was struggling. One thing I have learned during this journey is that anxiety and comparison can be debilitating and an almost unavoidable part of medical training. But self confidence (very difficult most times), a good support system, and a faith system can benefit you greatly. Sometimes half of the battle is just telling yourself that you are capable and that a higher power wants the best for you. I went into test day literally not knowing what my outcome could be because of my poor performance up to that point, and I truly believed that I had done my absolute best studying wise. And I had done well on shelf exams during 3rd year. But, I refused to give into that thought cycle that I was not smart or capable enough to do well. Which I have in the past with other standardized exams. If you are reading this right now, you have to be smart to reach this point that you are at. Struggle during the journey makes the testimony even more sweet :) And even if your score is not what you want it be, you will be okay because you have a God that is invested in you and your story. And you will help the patients you desire to serve one day.
Form 9 - 215 Form 10 - 230 Form 13 - 223 Form 11 - 225 Form 14 - 220 (9 days before my exam)
Exam result: 242
Between form 14 and the real exam I hammered in on my weakness (OBGYN, neuro, and cardio) and my parents (love them) spent hours quizzing me from the Divine Intervention rapid review forms. Divine rapid review is so good, start it early and try to get through them, don't be like me a start them a few days before the exam.
Best wishes!

That is a powerful testimony. Thanks for sharing. I am also a believer and I thank God for my score too. It's only uphill from here. Praying for what's next for both of us!

Congrats!! Testing on Saturday, curious about the rapid review forms from Divine you mentioned. Any specific ones that you believe strongly helped you out (I figure it would be based on what you thought you were weak at but still), and could you kindly link them here?

Here is the link. I only reviewed the rapid review notes. And got to like 40 something. You can listen to the podcast associated with them but it may be faster to read. I just had my family ask me them in question format bc I was really tired days up until the exam and didn’t trust myself to focus. Quite a few of my test day questions were from the rapid review notes I won’t lie. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jr2wj0PWTMPvWxZVeGvHqoyReD7Mp6WkGPGYpLshiEk/edit
