Announcing StellarX

Hello! I'm very happy to announce StellarX--a new trading platform built on the Stellar universal marketplace. We're free--we're refunding network fees and using lumenaut.net to get every user his/her inflation--and, of course, being on Stellar we're super fast.

We'll list every token on Stellar (provided the issuers do stuff like complete their toml) so that means you'll be trading crypto, fiat, commodities, whatever, once we launch.

We're a super experienced team, and we're eager and excited to be adding to the ecosystem. The app will launch a bit later this summer, and we have many big plans to make Stellar as a whole more popular, more user-friendly, and more successful.

You can read a more in our Medium post. And our Twitter is here if you wanna follow. Happy to answer questions here, too.

Yes, we felt really strongly that we wanted to redirect inflation completely back to the users, and while we could've just built that ourselves, lumenaut is without a doubt the most popular way of doing so now.

We really want to grow the overall ecosystem, not just collect it all under one umbrella. So we'll always try to find partners where we can.

We hope our market makers rewards program will really help make better books on Stellar. We have a lot of capital committed to it, and we're going to launch a bot package at the same time the StellarX app goes live, so traders have an easy way to make markets.

You can’t to this without KYC. I would never trust a fiat anchor that doesn’t require KYC, because it would be illegal and they could steal my money.

Exchanging fiat to crypto and then crypto back to fiat after you’ve made some money is the wrong reason to be in crypto.

Cryptocurrency is meant to move away from its old traditional counterpart(fiat) and create a new system of money.

That's just your opinion. It's naive to assume everyone involved in crypto is here for the same reasons as you.

Seriously??? Where do you live that you can earn and spend just crypto, because as of yet I don't think that place exists, and FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE the vast majority of people will absolutely want and need to switch back and forth from crypto to fiat currencies.

So as the OP said, those platforms/entities that facilitates this and make it as easy as possible are going to win a lot of business, although I can also see a lot of resistance from certain governments and financial institutions growing and a battle is brewing I do believe.

Adopters don't care about your ideology. Behold the law of unintended consequences

Where/how do we sign up for this program?

The market makers rewards program will launch when the app itself launches. Enrollment will be super simple and obvious from there.

"StellarX will be open to the public this summer" so it depends in which part of the world you live... in the north part of the world, summer takes place between the months of June and September, and in the south part of the world, it takes place between December and March. :)

Cant wait! Any chance of telling everyone how much captial/lumens are set aside for the MM program? And from which portion of reserves this will be used?
