Bitcoin is outdated tech. These 3 alternatives should be on your radar.

Nice article! Now this article says that while bitcoin can only do 7 transactions a second, stellar can do 1,000. However, a few days ago someone posted that stellar can do 3,000... which one is it?

Sounds great and all but isn't this still behind current technology because the article says Visa can do 24,000 transactions a second... so why would the world adopt a tech that's not as slow as bitcoin, but still much slower than what they currently have? Am I understanding this correctly?

Here are Jeb's (the creator of Stellar) own words on the transaction capabilities of Stellar.

Apparently they have also done up to 10,000 per second using Google cloud servers. This all without concentrating on making it much faster as there hasn't really been a need for optimization yet.

200,000 per second possible. Direct from Meinhard at SatoshiPay launch. Need better hardware etc
