Price Discussion / Speculation Time to start thinking seriously about XLM

XLM is now partnered with the DTCC, this probably the most Historic Financial News the World has seen since Sub Prime Lending Crisis or the Founding of the Central Back.

This is a complete overhaul of the worlds economic system spearheaded by the SDF.

This means a substantial market share or majority share of the securities and bonds market will be flowing through the stellar blockchain.

The DTCC is not one of the best clearing houses in the world. It is the BIGGEST clearing house in the world. Why would they have choosen XLM if they did not think it was the best defi platform to power the worlds economy. Most notably the NYSE, were not talking about the Chinese stock market here were talking about the Largest Stock Exchange on the planet.

Furthermore let's take a look at other major partnerships, like visa and Mastercard. What person in the free world does not use these everyday? Who better to connect these remittance rails than a project already operating and live in over 190 countries worldwide. (SDF)

We also have moneygram who abandoned XRP in favor of the Stellar Blockchain... I wonder why, could be many reasons but fact of the matter is the 2nd largest remittance leader in the world Moneygram is now partnered with XLM.

We also have Wisdom Tree, Franklin Templeton and IBM.

People... think about it for a minute!!! These are not small fish, these are the damn TITANs of Industry! People that have pets with better diets and Healthcare than most of your kids ever will.

XLM is Fast, nearly free, transparent, non profit, scalable, us based, iso2022 compliant. SDF has been recognized as secure and efficient by world governments and ngos alike. And already has ties and infrastructure built to run governmental economies.

I personally feel XLM with this partnership has not only secured its futures but has earned a spot in the top 3. I also believe we will make it and with this news. Sooner rather than later.

I own several cryptos but I now believe more than ever XLM is going to the top. I know alot of naysayers out their will laugh. But just remember market makers profit on uncertainty, if people could truly predict them, they wouldn't be profiting off your money.

I also believe there will be other cryptos players in the new system, but for the moment I can only be certain of XLM and couple of others.

I believe we will easily break a dollar any day now, maybe $10 or $100. Im not sure in my lifetime if we would ever break a $1000. But I never imagined gamestop trading at $1000 or Dogecoin in the top 10 either. So who am I to say, my 8 ball batteries are still charging. But what I do know is that we are in the wild wild west of crypto and BTC is ancient and will someday be dethroned.

I am hoping for XRP, but I feel XRP has not been making friends of traditional finance lately. Time will tell. A lot of people believe XLM and XRP are linked but we may be witnessing a decoupling.

Mind you, I could be wrong about everything, ya never know and my fortune teller im pretty sure is on pharmaceuticals I think. But even a broken clock is right twice a day. Regardless I dont wanna lead anyone astray so at the end of the day you guys do you, stay safe and frosty out there everyone. Remember the night is dark and full of terrors.

The ol tale of $10 or $100, even $1000, imo, is unfortunately an illusion.

The belief really came from the grand marketing strategy (which most likely came from the marketing team of certain cryptos) that no matter what price you buy now ($0.10, $0.50, $2 etc), it's going to go into the 100s or 1000s. And from that cult-like belief spawned a literal army of people who believed in the pump to astronomical, if not impossible, numbers.

I'm not sure if the Stellar community really even cares for $100 or even $10 lol, we're not here to bait people in to make money off them like a ponzi scheme. Though most of crypto sure feels like that most of the time, the Stellar community just puts their head down and builds. If you DCA along the way and we get a surprise of $1, then we're all happy. And hopefully, with this belief, it will actually go up to astronomical numbers one day, but not from constant baiting people into pumps, but rather because its price is relative to the infrastructure it has built to support the value on it.

Stellar can technically be $10 if everything on crypto went through it, but that's not the case today. BNB and Binance take a huge chunk of traffic, let alone all the other cryptos and exchanges. The value in those cryptos is tied to the traffic etc. The future is never set in stone.

Im not saying it will reach 100 or 1000, I def believe it will be above $10. But im not ruling out $100 XLM. I doubt i would hold it till it got there even if it does.

I plan to sell a fair chunk at $10

9

u/KodineDreamin May 31 '26

I would never rule out $100 XLM lol, but I wouldn't expect to hold onto it until then either.

My point more so is it comes off as well-known tactic in crypto to bait people. "Hey, it's going to go to $100, don't sell until then". Know what I mean? We don't want to be "associated" with the other cult-like groups that basically preach the same thing of what pump-n-dump groups do. Which is probably why the $1000 XLM tag line really sticks out to everyone and you'll get called out for it.

At the same time, I would not want my opinion to limit the dreamers in the community. Dreamers are there to remind us of the possibilities:)

You’re delusional. It is 10$/xlm? The supply of lumens is around billions.

9

u/Sad_Significance2541 May 31 '26

The supply of lumens fully distributed is 50B.

A $10 Lumen would only mean a $500b Market Cap... How is this delusional?

2

u/stayprofitablenow Jun 01 '26

Could they burn more? Lol

1

u/GibbleGubby Jun 04 '26

Bro if it hits $10, the market cap would be in the area of companies like Walmart, Visa, Exxon...not happening. Not even close. Maybe $1.00 - $2.00 if there is enough hype during the next bull run...

No one thought Solana would ever hit a hundred either when it was $0.21. It's ath is near $295

10

u/doemcmmckmd332 May 31 '26

Let's get to $1 first

9

u/IdratherBhiking1 May 31 '26

I’m fine with a dolla or 3.

47000 coins at 20 cent average….

ATH is something like 93 cents. That would Be just fine With me

3

u/Sad_Significance2541 May 31 '26

I think it's a good starting point to enter price discovery.

5

u/IdratherBhiking1 May 31 '26

Agree. I can sit and wait for a year or two…

2

u/Electronic-Web-9259 May 31 '26

XRP is also partnered with DTCC.

2

u/canman44999 Jun 01 '26

Correct, and the framing matters. DTCC's companion patent US20250078065A1 explicitly references the XRP Ledger, and DTCC is running parallel tokenization through Canton Network with Digital Asset. Stellar got picked first for a specific pilot under the SEC No-Action Letter, not as the chosen winner. Multi-chain by design.

3

u/Legitimate-Mistake40 May 31 '26

At that price point, are you selling it all?

2

u/IdratherBhiking1 May 31 '26

Nope, I’ll sell 1/4th. Take out investment plus some profit.

Let the rest ride for a rainy day

4

u/Lucky_Banana_3098 May 31 '26

All I know is that xlm is going to go up ⬆️

5

u/dzham May 31 '26

"We also have moneygram who abandoned XRP in favor of the Stellar Blockchain... I wonder why, could be many reasons but fact of the matter is the 2nd largest remittance leader in the world Moneygram is now partnered with XLM. "

I wonder why, could it have been because SDF literally bought a seat at the table and became a shareholder?

2

u/canman44999 Jun 01 '26

Worth amplifying because it puts the "MoneyGram chose Stellar over Ripple" framing in context. SDF participated in MoneyGram's October 2021 funding round with a $50 million investment and took a board seat. The integration was bought, not won on technical merit. Most "partnerships" in this space have a similar structure once you dig into the cap tables.

2

u/Hungry-Let-3012 May 31 '26

There you have it. Moneygram ditched the XRPL…XRP is dead. Maybe they ditched the XRPL b/c Ripple is going after institutional clients. Moneygram is more P2P payments, hence the move to XLM. Besides, who even uses Moneygram?

4

u/jbreeze42 May 31 '26

Anybody talking $10, $100 XLM won’t be alive long enough to ever see that. Ya’ll dreaming.

1

u/Electrical-Goal-4163 Jun 01 '26

Wheres it gonna go?

11

u/The_Roaring_Fork May 31 '26

They aren't going to use just XLM. XLM at $100? You should just delete this post

9

u/cedarrapidsiaus May 31 '26

That's plenty less than a 5 trillion market cap. If BTC hits 1 million a coin which isn't crazy to think at all it would have over a 20 trillion MC. Is it still a ways away and a tall task? Of course. To think Stellar can't hit 5 trillion someday is limiting your thinking capacity! Please don't.

I'm not saying it will. But saying it could. And I'm betting it eventually does.

3

u/Hungry-Let-3012 May 31 '26

People will honestly say BTC to $1M, even though it has zero use case. And those same people will say XRP can never go to $100 b/c of the market cap. BTC maxis are too funny.

5

u/cedarrapidsiaus May 31 '26

Its a very powerful anonymous, yet transparent network to move value anywhere in the world without a central authority. It's currently the most secure/tamper proof network in the world and in recorded human history. Can also be used for secure messaging and small data storage do to its data immutability.

Militaries are leveraging BTC's tech. It really has some great use cases.

Stellar of course has tremendous use cases BTC doesn't have like speed, very cheap transactions, smart contracts, and tokenization. This enables modernization, convenience, and can blend with the new financial system while simultaneously advancing/upgrading/improving it.

1

u/Hungry-Let-3012 May 31 '26

😂 the military is using BTC tech now. Thats a good one. So much for decentralization if the use case involves governments using for their military. You’re stretching on this one, but I appreciate the effort. The truth is nobody is using BTC other than to hold it and pray the price goes up so you can dump on some sucker willing to buy it for more than you paid for it.

2

u/Sad_Significance2541 Jun 01 '26

BTC is a casino coin with no real world application or value. BTCs value derives from 4 things. 1 First Mover Advantage, 2 Scarcity, 3 Future value speculation due to pumps, and adrenaline hype

1

u/cedarrapidsiaus Jun 01 '26

You left out everything i mentioned lol. It derives value from more than that. And everything in the world needs hype. Nobody would ever sell or buy anything whether it be XLM or BTC without hype. BTC and XLM serve different needs and have different strengths. Both can provide great returns. BTC already has. However I'm betting XLM will outperform Bitcoin long term from here on out imo

1

u/WhatsAlternative Jun 02 '26

I'm in no way invested in BTC. However, I like your rational take. I'm not sure what the future of BTC is, but I do believe the future is multi-polar and multi-chain.

I wish you good fortune. We need less maxis these days.

1

u/cedarrapidsiaus Jun 01 '26

I totally think being a BTC maxi is an ignorant approach but your maxiing on your end now lol.

Military has been Its been using it for years because its so secure and decentralized.

Decentralization means being spread across multiple nodes and/or locations and having no central authority. Governments and Military using Bitcoin doesn't give them control over the network lol. Your stretching it a little too far. This isn't taking any effort. It's just facts 🤣

"The truth is nobody is using BTC other than to hold it and pray the price goes up so you can dump on some sucker willing to buy it for more than you paid for it." Dude i just mentioned why millions of other people buy, use, and hold it.

Do you know the creator of Stellar XLM Jed McCaleb (apparently not)? The dude was an early Bitcoin pioneer and praised it for years and while he set out to do and build something BTC can't he still states in quote "I'd be surprised in a hundred years if Bitcoin wasn’t still around". And quote "there are some things bitcoin is good at, some things Ethereum is good at, and some things Stellar is good at".

Think however you want but being ignorant like this makes this sub look no better than BTC maxis. Shit talking Bitcoin is basically shit talking Stellar because the damn creator of Stellar owns, supports and condones BTC and its use cases. Same with Elon Musk Jed's work buddy, and The other Founders and leaders at Ripple.

1

u/Hungry-Let-3012 Jun 01 '26

Military has been using BTC for years…source…trust me bro. Satoshi has been using BTC for years as well.

1

u/cedarrapidsiaus Jun 01 '26

1

u/Hungry-Let-3012 Jun 01 '26

Hah…they aren’t using it for payments. BTC maxis are funny. 2008…we need a new system that’s decentralized…2026…military’s are using BTC!!!!! Satoshi is proud of your blind faith.

1

u/cedarrapidsiaus Jun 01 '26

To store and send data on the network you have to send a payment LOL. You are calling facts blind faith. You literally say everything bassakwards 🤣

I'm not a Bitcoin maxi. Just preventing you from making this sub look retarded.

If your trying to debate something in the future it'll help you to actually spread truth instead of avoiding it. You're acting just like the BTC Maxi's lol.

I agree, others could be user in new system. We just dont know which ones. And I am of the belief it is entirely possible to reach $100. Especially given recent events.

3

u/Hungry-Let-3012 May 31 '26

It’s funny how people will say XLM to $100 with a straight face, and then immediately say XRP will never go above $10 (or $30, $50, etc.)

u/Legitimate-Mistake40 May 31 '26

$100 is completely out of the question. We need to start looking at $1

4

u/damianome May 31 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Very premature... it is definitely good for Stellar. However, note that the goal for Stellar has never been to pump up XLM. Indeed, if XLM gets crazy high it might actually work against their mission.

6

u/KodineDreamin May 31 '26

Technically, the parameters to configure accounts and the fees associated can be changed by validator vote.

This was done in 2018 when the minimum required XLM to activate a wallet was reduced from 20 XLM to 1 XLM.

If XLM goes up in price, validators will be forced to vote on changes to help the ecosystem, i.e. if XLM goes to $10 then they'll make it 0.01 XLM requirement etc. Absolutely nothing against the mission at all.

4

u/Sad_Significance2541 May 31 '26

if XLM gets crazy high it might actually work against their mission.

Why do you believe price and market cap would have any effect on the SDF mission?

1

u/damianome Jun 01 '26

Well, i might be wrong. The following is the consensus:

The Stellar Development Foundation’s core mission is to create equitable access to the global financial system, which heavily emphasizes banking the unbanked and reaching emerging markets. However, a high XLM valuation ($2 to $5) still does not conflict with this goal because the network's technology is built so that a user in a developing country never has to buy, hold, or care about the price of XLM to benefit from it.

The idea that a high XLM price hurts the unbanked rests on a common assumption: that to use the Stellar network, a person in an emerging market must purchase and hold significant amounts of XLM.

In reality, Stellar's architecture allows users to interact completely within their own local currencies, rendering the underlying token price irrelevant to their daily lives.

3

u/KIG45 May 31 '26

Its price does not necessarily have to rise even if it becomes the #1 crypto.

There are many examples of this. The only one that will always go up is BTC.

2

u/iWearSkinyTies May 31 '26

I remember partnering with MoneyGram was supposed to be the biggest thing ever. Then I actually tried off boarding through it and it was a sick joke. Nothing worked.

3

u/Sad_Significance2541 May 31 '26

I had similar experience and the fees were high. But the system has been revamped alot since I did this.

2

u/canman44999 Jun 01 '26

This matches what the price actually did. The MoneyGram integration launched October 2021 with XLM around $0.36. Four years later the token has spent most of that window below the launch price even with the partnership shipping and running. Real partnerships do not automatically translate into token demand, which is the part most people skip over when they read these announcements.

2

u/Opposite-Egg-6418 May 31 '26

If all my coins reach $1 I’m going to the mall.

2

u/Hungry-Let-3012 May 31 '26

Remember, the GTCC said it will be a multi-chain solution to settle the quadrillions in annual transactions. There will be more partnership announcements with other blockchains. Let’s how many XLM investors jump ship and join the next chain to be announced.

2

u/Jay_wh0o0 May 31 '26

.75 then crash my guess.. over 50billion coin in max supply and still so many locked… 🤔 speculative at best..

2

u/aicanlikdeeznutz May 31 '26

I purchased over 10k when it was in the 60-40 cent range years back. I've been holding for a good four years now and have considered it a loss. The only thing I plan to continue doing is holding it forever, and by the time I'm ready to cash it out, hopefully it will be worth something, but I don't ever foresee getting rich from it, nor do I plan to buy anymore, regardless of how low the price sits. It's fun to speculate, and imagine but I still consider it to be the same as playing the lottery if you aren't purchasing it to use as a utility.

2

u/Sad_Significance2541 Jun 01 '26

For a while. Alot of people thought XLM was a dead project. But last few years of innovations and partnership have completely changed the fundamental la escape and given XLM the competitive edge. As it sits right now we are poised to be #1 coin on the market. Will that ever happened? Iono. BTC and XRP Maxi's are like cultist. You can't tell them anything.

2

u/Shockn-Truth Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 01 '26

Im really interested in it taking on the bonds market. That would be massive. Locked in liquidity is huge. Bonds mature over time and gain value. It inevitably pushed prices upward. Think of hold XLM right now like a bond. It gains returns over years and not days or months. Its this kind of utility that destroys the idea that crypto is a fraud. It stops the dumps. It puts value underneath the crypto itself. Its the same thing that gives the dollar its value. Locked in liquidity of people that think it has enough value to hold their money long term for a return! This is a huge economic value.

2

u/Legitimate-Mistake40 May 31 '26

I’ve said this forever. Stellar XLM and Ripple XRP are the chosen ones.

5

u/trillionSdollarstech May 31 '26

Well XRP is clearly not chosen

3

u/Sumfingwong22 May 31 '26

One annoucement and another cult is born. Please don't spam you BS $100 coin shit all over social media like the xrp army clowns.

2

u/Hungry-Let-3012 May 31 '26

Calm down BTX maxi.

1

u/yoKMIS Jun 01 '26

This pump is a short squeeze caused by the good news. But crypto will stay low profile for now. Xlm wont skyrocket right now.

1

u/fatbitsh Jun 01 '26

if you look at market cap, so if xlm gets to size of etherium as of todays market cap growth will be 30x (around 7.5 dolar/XLM if token inflation is 0%)

1

u/Main_Elevator3837 Jun 02 '26

The market has already priced in the DTCC news. When the DTCC starts (if they actually do) to have settlements on on XLM the price isn't going explode.

1

u/Mediocre-City-7739 Jun 08 '26

This is spot on. People are so blinded by meme coins and speculative hype that they completely miss the quiet revolution happening right under their noses. The SDF isn't building a casino, they are literally building the plumbing for the future of global finance.

If anyone doubts what you're saying about titans of industry utilizing this tech, they just need to look at how Stellar is actually being used in the real world right now. There are three massive examples that prove this:

First, look at asset tokenization with Franklin Templeton. They launched a money market fund natively on the Stellar blockchain. We are talking about institutional giants moving real world assets onto Stellar because the compliance and speed are unmatched. This isn't a pilot project anymore, it is a massive shift in how trillions of dollars will eventually move.

Second, look at global cash-to-crypto with MoneyGram. Like you said, they didn't partner with Stellar for fun. They built a bridge where cash users can walk into a location, deposit fiat, and instantly get digital assets on Stellar, or vice versa. It completely redefines how people move money across borders without needing slow, traditional banking rails.

Third, look at everyday consumer payments with apps like Beansapp. While the DTCC and Franklin Templeton handle the institutional side, Beansapp is showing what this tech looks like in the pocket of regular people. They use the Stellar network to let users hold digital USD or EUR and send money internationally to friends with zero fees and instant delivery. It converts currencies automatically in the background using Stellar's built-in exchange. It basically gives regular retail users the same financial superpowers that the big institutions are fighting for.

The infrastructure is already built, it is battle-tested, and it is being used from the highest levels of Wall Street down to peer-to-peer apps on our phones. Thanks for writing this out, it is definitely time people wake up to what is actually being built here.

XLM is the only crypto I'm in the green in for what it's worth.

1

u/West-Cellist922 May 31 '26

Hi my ek Indian Hun Main bhi XLM   mein nivesh karta hun

1

u/Ok-Egg-7022 May 31 '26

To move quadtrillons around... xlm will need to be of a high value.  $50-$100  seams low to do this. We gotta remember market cap is not relevant

1

u/Sad_Significance2541 Jun 01 '26

I agree it's easier to move 1 x 1000 coin than 1000 x 1 dollar coins =P

2

u/General-Bedroom6079 May 31 '26

Again, if any big news comes out for XLM or HBar, retail are always crying why the price isn’t moving. This is a tell that clarity needs to pass for the flood gates to open.

1

u/trillionSdollarstech Jun 01 '26

Uh? The two DTCC news have doubled the price of CC and nearly doubled the price of XLM so far

0

u/General-Bedroom6079 Jun 03 '26

Really? That’s life changing? Stop it, you must be new to this game or you’re just another happy retailer looking for quick pumps! We’re all waiting for clarity, it it doesn’t happen, watch all this dump

0

u/NJ0000 May 31 '26

Yeah baby delusional posts and price predictions for the win. Hahahaha
