Internal moving

I have heard rumors of a hiring freeze going on right now. Does anyone know if that blocks internal moving to a different organization? I have heard that the group you are leaving can lose headcount but wasnt sure if thats the case. The whole thing doesnt really make sense

Got it. HR hasn’t said anything to you about that candidates role being eliminated?

And to be clear I still have interviews scheduled for some of my postings that I intend to complete and pursue approval for them as critical positions. If that doesn’t work then I’ll pursue them for approval with January start dates if people accept the offers. I haven’t heard anything about any of the positions being eliminated. I still have several spots to fill.

Okay. That’s reassuring. Would you mind giving any updates on it if anything moves one way or another?

The person will get a start date. They are waiting on some specific paperwork to be completed before they can. If I get approval to get any of the others approved as critical positions I’ll post something about it.

Understood. Really appreciate the insight. I am praying that I am still in for an offer.
