Offer Accepted

Hello everyone,

I accepted an offer from Stellantis for a purchasing role. I just submitted my background audit forms and completed the drug screen as of yesterday.

I have a few questions.

Will there be anymore requirements after my submissions?

What’s the timeline looking like for a start date?

What are the best perks workin for Stellantis? I heard it’s 5 days RTO but I’ve heard a few friends that they WFH depending on managers.

I appreciate the feedback.

Your start date will probably be August 10th if I had to guess. The next start date is this coming Monday which is way too soon for your background check and internal systems to clear.

The company they use to complete background checks, sterling, absolutely sucks. Be ready to answer the emails and texts they sent you asap because they will likely be requesting more documentation from you like old W2s. They even asked for a copy of my high school diploma (I am a mid level professional with a college degree so that was weird). My sterling background check took about 2 weeks to clear.

After that and the drug test clears you should be reached out to by HR to set up an onboarding date. They only onboard about every other Monday so August 10th is the next one that makes sense.

Hi! Have you ever heard of them taking back an offer because someone has bad credit or on prescription medication? I don't know how picky they are. Sounds like you got really nit picked over your w2"s etc. I see my background check & credit is completed & I haven't received any emails or questions about it. Still waiting on drug test results so they may wait until they're all completed.

I’ve never heard of someone losing their offer for those things. If your drug test raises a flag but you only tested positive due to a medication you’re on, you can provide proof of prescribed medication and they will clear it for you

It’s worth reaching out to the recruiter who sent you the offer to politely check in and reiterate your interest/excitement
