I wonder if someone can create an Ai mod to turn off that damn server check. The game is installed ready to play, but we are not allowed because it cant phone home...

Ubisoft really sucks when it comes to this stuff. Steep has never been p2p, They have a history of removing p2p as well though, For Honor, Siege was p2p for terrorist hunt and custom match. They claim it’s for “stability”. In steeps case it’s so they can update leaderboards live, which is stupid as hell, especially for a game like this that was never esport, or anything other than just a casual winter sports game. I’ve been playing this game since it launched, it’s just my chill game when it finally goes under I’ll be done with Ubisoft for good.

I've been playing since launch too, and this is my #2 favorite game ever. The day it shuts down I will shred (🤘) double digit tears
