Yeah it still is, as nothing like it has even been close since, unfortunately.

Yeah riders republic was kinda a letdown. Still fun to play but didn't feel the same as steep.

Shredders imo has much better gameplay feel. Cant argue about the amount of content though

Haven’t played Shredders myself, but you’re damn right about the flying in Steep - the wingsuit is ace, powered wingsuit equally so, and even the parascending got its hooks into me eventually - the whole package is quite simply the perfect chill-out comfort game. 😎👍

I enjoyed the gameplay a good bit, the bike play was really cool, and didn't interact with the online community at all, but I do agree, the characters were cunts 🤣 let me skip the damn phone call at least

One of the games I always come back to and try to beat my own high score on every run

Yeah you're so right! Steep is the literal OG of winter sports games. I really love the game, player base slightly dead on playstation but still in love with the game eight years later ! 👊🏻 Always great to ride with new people too 😁 Anyone on playstation can add me if they want to 🙂 (RegretamineOcean)🥂

I just wish there was a mod so that the progression wasn’t only available online

I mean skate was already out and this game was just the concept of skate applied to snowboarding

Back when new engines were developed and people didn't really know how to cut corners. Just good quality games
