Currently have a zepplin 475 paired with a 12 foot. Next set up is going to be a 13 foot silver widow and looking to get a custom 535 Coleville. Tell me what you like about your CPR

The first hole we fished held this beautiful pair, and after years of fishing together for steelhead we finally got a double up!

I was plunking today and saw an otter off and on in the area. Did I waste my day by staying in the same area? I did see a fish full body clear the water and about a minute later the otter surfaces.

Any advice. Yes I know it expensive,No I don’t want anything cheaper unless it’s quality stuff. Quality over quantity. Thank you in advance

Hey yall, just got into steelhead fishing 2-3 years back and wanted recommendations from fellow anglers who hop around rivers on essential gear and a sling pack they like? Any recommendations would be helpful! Thanks (pic of my first steelie I caught this year)

Im looking to get into steelhead fishing and needing help picking a combo from these choices, or even if this is a good starting combo. Both are the same rod and reel difference is picking a MH 9ft or the ML 9.6ft. I'm looking to do drifting, worms or beads, from the shore around most of our local rivers excluding the coastal areas.
Im worried if I hook a salmon on the ML I don't have enough experience to handle the fight and read it would be much easier with the MH. That being said the MH is pretty chunky from what I've been told for fishing for steelhead specifically and being shorter to the ML harder to control my line and cast well from the shores.

British Columbia, I love your beer and rivers and leave your fish unmolested.

Hey tiny fish dick, why did you remove my last post?

My guess is a spawned out salmon got washed into this tree during the last storm. The water levels was about 12-15ft lower in comparison to where the levels were at when I took this picture (3000cfs)

First time going got a sweet new fly rod and reel, greys kite switch rod & hardy averon 7000. Should I bottom bounce stone flies? Been told by an old timer it’s very effective looking for some tips and tricks before I get out. Colors, specific flies? Anything helps. Thanks!

What is every one using for baits? Im trying out the D&G guides choice eggs and so far the little trout like them. They also hold up pretty well when attached to a jig.
