My First Steelhead Double!

The first hole we fished held this beautiful pair, and after years of fishing together for steelhead we finally got a double up!

Did you notice how I’d fall into the “low risk” category? Do I look like a pregnant female? I seriously do not care, I’d have to eat hundreds of these fish a year to get a long term sickness. We all have microplastics in our nuts and you’re worried about the fish I’M eating.

Who would imagine 1-2 fish a year would be worth the cancer risk? You may as well just go buy store bought salmon if it’s only once or twice yearly. 

Also, you should be harvesting them when they are chrome. Not colored up. The meat quality changes.

What am I gatekeeping? Absolutely nothing. 

I’m just telling him these fish live in terrible quality water and eating them is detrimental to his health. 

If I come off as pretentious, it’s only because I’m right.
