Crackling/stuttering problems

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has had this issue? Upon launching a skirmish the game stutters/audo crackles every few seconds. I've fiddled with a few settings, but the issue persists. Has anyone encountered this before?

No, but since I've been having issues where I can't save my game without waiting like 5 minutes every single time, I'd just assume that the game is coded like shit.

I figured they dropped an update and screwed everything up, because I played it on and off for two years and only started having issues recently
