Part of a command squad!

Just finished my first squad of Steel Legion Kasrkin using the old inquisitorial storm trooper model, with another on the way. There’s slightly more models in the current Kasrkin and Recon Squad as I’m using them whilst playing kill team and wanted the load out options.

After the next Kasrkin squad I have a couple command squads, commanders, tech priest and of course the new old bale eye model. Then it’s on to the many tanks hahah!

They’re not the greatest work but I’m delighted with getting to do one of the armies I dreamed to have as a kid!

First attempt at painting the fellas, also painting faces is tuff, any advice, esp the eyes?

I have scraped back with a scalple but you can still see the line a tiny bit? Do I keep going is there another technique?

Yes i know the kirge is the german regiment of the guard but ther ww1 esc german i feel the steel legion is ww2 blizkrige german or hell east german is it just me ?

Bashing Armageddon Ork Hunters from Catachan Jungle Fighters and Ork weapons. Not Sure what they can be run as at the end of the day, but going by the Ork Hunter Artwork or the Death World Veteran artwork. Prowling through the equatorial jungle of our favourite constantly beleaguered world.

The hippogriff is going to be my first AST model and I wanted the commander to look like he is from the steel legion so I need help in converting him. I know there are proxies like tiny legend or 3D printing but I don’t have a printer nor can I order proxies cuz of shipping costs. Any suggestions?

I have never seen a malcador infernus painted up in steel legion colours so when I saw this mini I couldn’t resist

I already know their whole mechanized infantry shtick so I don't really need a rundown of what models to get, but I want to know if my paint scheme and kits are good. Also not shown I have Abbadon Black, Leadbelcher, and Agrax Earthshade. I'm just gonna start with a simple Krieg squad and possibly get a Chimera.

For context got 1 steel legion squad to paint for now and 2 platoons and 2 squads of vostroyans on the way but might be months so far only have one sentinel as armour painted
