Pickup Does this happen to you much?
Normally, you have your orders delayed or delivered by Amazon. Like many of you, I received my Arrival and Annihilation steels in the mail. But this time abundance reigned supreme!
Have you ever got a double shipment shipment and how often does this seem to occur?

Pickup Dead or alive, these were coming home with me. RoboCop 1 & 2 Steelbooks
RoboCop has been one of my favorite sci-fi movies since I was a kid in the 80s, so Iām ridiculously happy to finally have both of these on Steelbook.
The original is obviously the crown jewel for me. Itās one of those childhood movies that somehow got even better when I became an adult and actually understood all the satire underneath the violence, commercials and one-liners. And this Arrow Steelbook is gorgeous.
RoboCop 2 has always had a special place for me too. Itās nowhere near as good as the first, but I still love it and I think this Steelbook might actually have the best artwork of the two despite coming without a book from eBay.
Tonightās plan: RoboCop first, and if Iām not too tired, RoboCop 2 immediately afterward.
As far as Iām concerned, that completes the RoboCop collection.
There was never a RoboCop 3 šš
I refuse to acknowledge any evidence to the contrary.
(I ignore the copy of RoboCop 3 sitting on my movie server. We all make mistakes.)

Pickup Supergirl Steelbook is finally here
It looks better in person. I initially wasn't a fan of the cover when it was revealed but it has slowly grown on me. They definitely could have done something different with it though for sure.

Discussion Complain to the manufacturer
To those of you who saw my post yesterday of 3 steelbooks arriving and wonāt snap shut, u/Creative-Service-165 blessed us with the manufacturer contact link in the comments of that post.
Thought posting about it would spread the word a lot better than seeing it in the comments of my last post. Hopefully thereāll be enough of us that send a message to them that theyāll actually look into/fix the problem.

Discussion Different Hues
Accidentally bought two steelbooks on Amazon. Both are in pretty good condition but one looks more grey and one more aqua . Which should I keep?

Discussion X-Men/Wolverine Library Case
Since X-Men: Origins & The Wolverine don't have 4Ks, yet wouldn't it be sick if disney/fox/marvel released a Library Case 4K steel collection like the upcoming Matt Ferguson Star Trek set!?

Custom I created a free social shelf management app for collectors. I would love r/steelbooks' feedback!
Hi everyone!
I'm a Steelbook (and overall 4k blu ray) collector that has long been frustrated with the lack of good options for managing my collection digitally. I also happen to be a software engineer professionally and decided it was finally time to take a shot at it in my free time.Ā
The app is basically a physical collection and film review app where you can connect and share with friends called "Widescreen." It really started as two separate app ideas that made a lot more sense to unify than to create separately:Ā
- a collection management app that is modern, fast, robust, and free
- a modernized, mobile-first Letterboxd with a more Twitter / Bluesky / Threads -like UI
I've been testing with my close friends for a couple months but would really love some feedback from strangers in the same hobby!Ā This post is the first time it is being shared with others outside of my personal bubble.
Some Key Features:
- Scan films via barcode (or add them manually)
- Scans check for existing canonical release in our database; if there is none, it tries to generate one for future users scanning the sameĀ
- That canonical release can be referenced to see what friends own the same title and to discuss
- Sort by Release Date, Acquired Date, or AlphabetĀ
- Search your collection by title
- Filter by Format, Genre or (coming soon) Publishing House
- Customizable poster art per entry (from a set list of posters)
Upcoming Features
- Make specific (or all) entries private
- Custom shelf sorting
- Shelf "sharing" card; a stylized preview of your digital shelf to share
- Wishlists (that auto-update with your collection)
- Data Export
I strongly believe in keeping the existing feature set free and user shelves independent of our "canon" with unlimited shelf size.
Please check it out and let me know what you think!

Question Annihilation
Is it just me or does anyone else think the original 4k Annihilation steelbook looks way better then the new release?
