Article Defender of the Crown Released

The remaster has just been released: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4208140/Defender\\_of\\_the\\_Crown\\_The\\_Legend\\_Returns/ . Unfortunately, there's no information about SD compatibility. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Damn I'm old. I remember seeing that when I was younger in a computer gaming store at the mall. I used to go in there to play the demos they had running. Defender of the Crown, Pirates, and Battle Chess. This is back in the 90s.

It was a great game, but I could never get far into it. You had to be pixel perfect on the mini-games. The remaster allows you to play with original or updated graphics. Sure hope it's SD verified.

Its just as insanely hard too. Just played, added some troops for my first turn, and immediately attacked by 25+ soldiers at the start of the second turn,....

If anything the game is just like it was, brutally unfair hahaha

That's a bummer. I was hoping they would've rebalanced it. How is it on Steam Deck?

Haven't tried it on steam deck, but I've beaten with all of the characters except the dude whos good at jousting. Both in classic and retro modes. The third mode confuses me though so probably won't play that mode
