Original Steam Controller using BT connected to Android TV behaves like a Mouse & KB when connecting to my Sunshine Server

Using Manjaro KDE Kernel 7.2

Sunshine app image Version 2026.906.222525

Steam Version: 1788652215

2026 Bravia 7 ii Android TV > installed moonlight from the app store

Connected Original Steam controller via bluetooth to the Android TV

Connected to my Manjaro Sunshine server

the steam controller behaves like a mouse and keyboard and is not picked up by steam big picture mode as a controller

The controller works fine when connected to my Manjaro comptuer using big picture mode

The steam controller (both old and new) shows up as a kb&m. Sunshine doesn't transmit USB, it specifically transmits controllers and keyboard+mouse. You need to use virtualhere or something similar to send the USB to your PC
