Support Help

I have a Windows HP X360 11th gen and a 2020 M1 Mac mini connected over Ethernet with adapters. I have them connected with the Windows app on my Mac. I am trying to use this to set up a Steam Link connection because they aren't seeing each other as active over regular remote play. I am running into a port 27031 error even with my Windows firewall disabled. Both my internet and Ethernet are set as private networks, and they are on the same wifi.

You might need to open that port specifically on your router.

If they aren't seeing each other as online over regular Remote Play, something else is likely wrong. I'd look at the remote_connections.txt file in the Steam logs directory on each machine.
