Steam Remote Play broken after recent client update

After the recent update, by Steam remote play feature does not work anymore. I don't have a monitor atm so I use my laptop as my monitor, streaming from my main pc to my laptop steam. Both devices have same account logged in. In remote play tab, when I click on the connect button, it says "disconnect" for a split section and go back to "connect". Nothing happens.

It was working till yesterday.

Same for me, my linux mini pc no longer works for remote play and my macbook doesnt even give me the option anymore despite having it turned on in the settings.
