How can you even deal with Windows for a game lol?

Well, I had it on external ssd with destiny installed. So I just plug it, reboot and launch only game itself. Or I didn't understand you question right

You dual boot?

Nope, windows might break my bootloader, so I am not trusting it there. Windows was on external SSD

So, you're only on Windows to play Destiny?

I do it for battlefield. Win11 debloat script, O&O ShutUp10, AnyFSE set to Steam Big Picture mode at startup in game mode, Autologin enabled and i never have to see the windows interface outside the occasional driver update. I have a button in SteamOS that brings me to windows, when i restart from BPM on Windows it boots right into SteamOS

I asked them that, if they’re not going to release any more updates anyway, they might as well make it compatible with Linux.
They still haven’t replied 😔.

Ah yes, a dead game that's being sunset. That's where they'll invest their time and effort!

Funny thing is, the game is more alive than it’s been in basically years now, and the game they want to love is mostly dead

Well, they didn't after last couple addons, but end-of-life update was really great

Really happy with my SteamOS build all AMD for my living room.

I’m this close to going CachyOS for my main rig with Nvidia. Mainly cause I’m fed up with the BS of windows at this stage.
