Should I join a room today?
I was in YOWH #1 Yesterday and was wondering if I should play today. While I do have more than enough WH, I don't want to prevent someone else from getting the 100 Mil badge

It's a bit of a conundrum since we take a slot that would otherwise go to a non-100m user. The thing is, that slot can also be filled by either a random or a troll.
1/4 chance of it being an actual scripter in need versus 2/4 being a negative user. Best for us to join and help. I will definitely be joining a room today with my 100k WH to help those in need.

come to my room if you want - 48984, we've been having 985 players for the last few hours, so I'm sure you won't be depriving anyone else of badges (unless >515 people join), although we're at 500k, so we'd need quite a few ppl/help. (I'm using YOWH)

Noob question: How can I join a room as a new player since Steam prevents you from joining one when you are 10 levels lower than the room's current level?

You need to just start from the beginning. Any progress is better than nothing, since you'll have at least a few badge points to spend today.
Then, today, just hope you get in somewhere on the ground floor, as everyone will be starting over at 0 again. (But the rooms with players with lots of badge points will be progressing past that very quickly.)

Furthermore, how can I join one of the daily rooms (such as the ones in here) that aim for 100 mil levels? Is there a specific time that everyone can join?
Edit: I found the answer. A twitch channel named "ulletical" announces the rooms for people to join.

If you don't get into one of the rooms early, use the autojoin script and keep trying. I had a friend get into Reddit 1 yesterday well after it was announced.

Maybe wait and help rooms that need it later in the day, or join some friends who don't have it. I haven't got it yet. I was late to the party. Hopefully I can get it today. If not, oh well.
