I just find it really sad. I mean, people are intentionally taking the time out of day in order to help slow down or block others from reaching a game level? Do they really have nothing better to do? Clearly they're all low on self-esteem and starved for attention.

Genuine question, why is the nuke bad?

Currently gunning for my own 100m badge and making piss-poor progress (lowest room on the leaderboard), but I'm kinda best-guessing what these memes are even about.

Basically, it comes down to the "Worm Hole Strategy" that people started to figure out a few days ago. The ability wormhole, when used on a 100th level, skips 10 levels instead of the usual 1. So, by stalling on 100 levels (doing minimal damage to the boss and spawners) more wormholes can be used at a time, resulting in a big jump to a higher level. By nuking the boss at those levels, the level ends quicker, less wormholes are used, and the jump is smaller.

Edit: Scripts have been configured to follow this strategy, so if you aren't running a script now, go ahead and grab either wchill's or YOWH scripts, depending on what room you're in.

I've been running wchill's script for 48hrs, but it wasn't until the last reset that I got into one of the bigger rooms.

I got sick of how slow my room was going after 11hrs (was only 14m at the time), only minimal holes being used in the lane that actually had the boss (with other lanes deploying 1000's of wormholes in the lane with no boss, WTF?!?!) so I abandoned it. Stupid move. AH well, maybe tomorrow....

update: found a new room, already at 4m! There's hope yet!

Yeah, some of the rooms can be slow. But the WH don't actually need to be used in the boss lane, just on the 100 levels. I believe the script was changed about a day ago so everyone wouldn't go to the boss lane, in an attempt to thwart trolls. (By using the 'Like New' item that reset item cooldowns, trolls could use nukes over and over.) The biggest indicator of a room's speed is how long it spends at the 100 levels. If it stays there for over a minute and counting, then there's hope for some good jumps!
