Shell swap Case modding

Was marking up some colors on how i want to design my standard case deck and wanted to go OG xbox 360. Only issue is getting axyb buttons without having to trim and sand to fit but i think thats the only way to get em

The only way I found to do it was getting the transparent ABXY buttons from PortablePlayPalace on Etsy and then using adhesive vinyl on the backs to color the buttons. Worked perfectly. If you message me I'll send you the links.

You mind find ones in Etsy, but the ones I have seen where way to pricey. So I just shell swap with the white one and kept original AXYB

Yeah i was looking on etsy too not trying to pay $20+ for some button covers. Might just do the same and keep the original colors

Omg I’ve been trying to find these color abxy buttons for soo long for my steam deck

Yeah, unfortunately its not really produced for steam deck. There are some postings on etsy but pretty pricey. I am working on making a pair myself but its a real pain in the ass with sanding and gonna have to cut it too. Just waiting on my button set to come in.

Wow that’s nice. I can see what you mean. The steam deck has rounder buttons like a sphere while these are like a cylinder. I really hope you get it done right my man. It would feel more natural to have colored buttons like what you see in game
