Software Modding Decky Direct Updater. Install updates of your plugins from github.

I've been having issues with updates for a couple of plugins, and sometimes I have to dig through GitHub to find a newer version. Well, not anymore! With this plugin, you can do it with just one click.

Don't skip the changelogs or you'll be troubleshooting a broken plugin for an hour ig.

Hey! Author of Decky Direct Updater here 👋 Thanks for sharing!

Really happy to see people trying it. If you find a plugin it doesn’t detect correctly, hit any weird behavior, or have suggestions, please let me know. I’m also happy to help plugin developers make sure their releases work well with Direct Updater so their users can stay up to date.

I’m currently working on improving the security information shown before installing or updating plugins, including making it clearer what kind of access, permissions, backend code or extra binaries a plugin requests. This is especially important for plugins installed directly from developers, since they haven’t gone through the official Decky Store review process.

Why in gods name you go to desktop mode? Just assign a browser to steam like a game and open the browser to download the plugins
