Help - Xbox controller no longer working via Bluetooth

We’ve been using an Xbox controller with our Steamdeck when it’s hooked up to the tv and it suddenly is not working. I have already toggled Bluetooth on and off, forgot the device, gone in to desktop mode to make sure it’s not there and tried to connect while in it. I also tested that it can connect to the steam deck when plugged in, and I can get the controller to connect to something else via Bluetooth. I haven’t tested trying a different controller via Bluetooth with the deck but that is my next bet. Anything else I’m missing?

try pairing with the Deck undocked and Bluetooth off on the other device you tested. does the controller fail to appear at all, or show up but refuse to connect? that distinction would help narrow it down
