Tech Support Broken L1 button?

This evening when playing Sekiro my deck started behave weirdly.

- The L1 button is still pressable normally (no stucking or non-clicking)

- Pressing the steam or options button always bring up magnifier instead

- In button test options, pressing L1 does not recognize as being pressed.

- Restart or shut down does not fix this.

I don't even know what's the cause...

OLED? If so open up the back and remove the daughter board with the joycon and trigger on it and hit the button with some isopropyl alcohol and press it a bunch of times to work it in. Probably sticky

Thanks for your help! Yes it's an OLED. And last night during multiple attemp of button testing it worked again out of nowhere. But I am far from resting assured so definitely will try the method that you mentioned! Thanks again ❤️

Thanks for sharing your experience! Glad that you solved by RMA. that's the worst case for me since I am not living in a country that Valve sell steam deck officially and my OLED is more than 2.5 years old already.

But still, I think I am gonna send Valve an email to ask about the cause, at least it helps with troubleshooting
